About The Role***
As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting managers with low-risk Employee Relations (ER) cases. This position is based in either our Manchester or Suffolk office, and you will report to the Employee Relations Partner. Your primary responsibilities will include offering guidance to managers, managing ER cases, and assisting with ER administration tasks. You will help maintain the HR department's efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring the smooth resolution of ER cases.
This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. T
**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:
- Manage a caseload of low-risk ER cases, offering advice and guidance to managers and actively working towards timely case resolution.
- Identify and escalate "aged cases" for appropriate action.
- Provide managers with essential templates and manager guides for ER cases.
- Coach managers on the effective management of ER cases.
- Assist managers with Occupational Health (OH) referrals, ensuring the right questions and advice are sought.
- Support managers in drafting letters, such as invitations and outcomes.
- Collaborate with ER Partners, Strategic HR Business Partners, HR & Training Managers by generating Management Information (MI), including reports, graphs, and trend analysis.
- Maintain the case management system to ensure it is up to date and accurate.
- Be available to answer phone inquiries and provide real-time advice to managers when needed.
- Assist the team with post and correspondence.
- Act as a cover for colleagues in other business areas as necessary.
**Skills & Experience**:
- L3 CIPD or working towards it.
- Experience working in HR Administration or a similar ER role.
- Ability to work with multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
