**Housing Officer Vacancy**
An established Housing Association is looking to recruit a **Housing Officer **to join their busy team on a temporary contract for around two months with a possible extension.
**Location**:Watford
**Duration**: Temporary
**Hours**: 37 Hours per week, Monday to Friday
Remote working available but must be able to travel across the patch
**Pay**: £20.37-£23 umbrella
**Main responsibilities of the role**:
- Provide effective management of the organisations housing and customers/tenants
- Undertake tenancy and estate management assisting in rent arrears recovery and ensure tenant participation
- Oversee a high level of safeguarding at all times
- Dealing with cases of Anti-Social Behaviour
- To ensure all vacant homes are re-let efficiently and in line with the organisation’s policies around Choice Based Lettings and performance targets
- Carry out joint inspections of properties prior to termination, transfer, and mutual exchange
- Carry out regular estate inspections, and ensure that contractors are complying with their obligations in respect of grounds maintenance, tree works and cleaning contracts
**Essential Requirements**:
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and have access to a vehicle
- Previous experience with social housing including management of void properties
- Possess knowledge of housing law and regulation
- An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain
