**Base Location**: Flexible UK & Ireland | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices or depots around the UK and Ireland.

**Salary**: £54,600 - 81,800 + car / allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

**Working Pattern**: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

**What is the Role?**

The purpose of this job is to coordinate the delivery of the Digital ambition of all Corporate Services functions in SSE. The role holder will be expected to support each function as required in programme management and delivery, whilst delivering a range of critical enablers that span all functions. The job will oversee value streams, work closely with Corporate IT and relevant product owners to deliver Digital change, will lead a Digital Working Group and support the Digital Community in advancing Digital adoption. This role impacts approximately 2,000 people across Corporate Services and impacts all SSE businesses.

**Stakeholder Relationship Management**

The job holder will exploit every opportunity to deliver excellence through knowing the customer and their Digital ambition, understanding what works well and where there is a need to improve, and also benchmark and continually adopt best practice.

**Programme Delivery**

Work with Corporate functions to plan, organise and control the delivery of projects, focussing on those that require support. Work collaboratively with Corporate IT to deliver solutions using agile methods where possible.

**Critical Enablement**

Deliver a range of critical enablers that will support all Corporate Functions in achieving their Digital ambition. These include data management, common solution development, connected infrastructure, training and communications.

**Performance, Development and Continuous Improvement**

Lead, develop and empower teams and third-party contractors to deliver and perform to their full potential within a positive but challenging environment which encourages people to succeed and excel.

**Digital Culture**

A key component of the role is to focus on the culture of SSE and the impact that Digital adoption will have on ways of working. The aim is to improve job fulfilment by removing all manually intensive and low value tasks where possible, improve insights from data and reporting to improve decision making and ensure that Digital maturity is a key enabler to SSE in attracting and retaining the best talent.

- Experience in business transformation and programme delivery
- Can demonstrate Digital adoption across a large workforce including new Digital solutions and cultural change
- Strong stakeholder management across a diverse set of customers with varied needs
- Innovative and creative mindset to help accelerate Digital maturity
- Able to manage an ecosystem of deliver partners and vendors
