Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:

- P&L analysis and reporting to each department
- Completion of monthly management accounts
- Complete and report on variance analysis
- Submission of board packs including commentary
- Business partnering with other departments
- Forecasting future trends, liaising with the FP&A team
- Preparation of prepayments, accruals and other key balance sheet reconciliations
- Review of balance sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Preparation of month end journals
- Stock and fixed asset reconciliations
- Coaching other team members when required
- Implementing process improvements across the team and the wider finance department

Key competencies required of the Management Accountant include:

- CIMA qualified or part-qualified
- Competent in the use of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred)
- Ability to communicate detailed process and transactional data clearly and simply at all levels
- Strong interpersonal skills, a skilled leader and influencer with a passion for people development
