**Management Accountant**

**Up to £28,000 + Bens (pro rata for part time)**

We are hiring for a well-known UK charity and they are seeking a part qualified Management Accountant to fit in with their finance team.

The role can be part time 20-25 hours per week potentially more and study support will be considered as appropriate. There will be a degree of flexibility (hybrid working ) in the role too.

**The role**:
You will be responsible for ensuring month end deadlines are met. Including processing the payroll and submission to HMRC.

You will lead on the reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts and bank accounts.

You will be responsible for the preparation and submitting of monthly pension returns.

You will provide support with the preparation of monthly management accounts, provide cover and deputise for the Head of Finance & Resources.

**Responsibilities**:
Reconcile key balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis and as part of the preparation of the annual accounts

Process the monthly payroll and submit to HMRC

Prepare and process the monthly pension returns for The Pension Trust Post payments from the bank statement and reconcile the bank accounts on a weekly basis

Prepare the monthly budget holder reports and assist the Head of Finance & Resources with the overall preparation of the monthly management accounts including the cash-flow forecast Answer queries from colleagues across the organisation and as part of theannual audit Manage the Chart of Accounts and maintenance of the finance system

Processing of company card transactions onto the finance system on a monthly basis.

Process Sales and Purchase invoices into the Finance system.

Prepare the Supplier payment run on a weekly basis.

Assist the Head of Finance & Resources with preparing ad-hoc financial returns as required and elements of the annual accounts.

Cover some of the Head of Finance & Resources responsibilities during their absence to include reviewing BACS payments and dealing with queries from colleagues.

Other ad-hoc finance duties as required.
