Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant - Tri-Borough Falls Prevention Service - Colville Health Centre

We are looking for a new Rehabilitation Assistant to join our renowned Tri-Borough Falls Prevention Service within CLCH. The service sees residents of Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham who are at risk of falls. We predominantly see clients in clinics and deliver evidence based strength and balance classes but we do still see a small number of clients in their own homes for one to one rehabilitation.

The post holder will work alongside a team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and other Rehabilitation Assistants and will be supported by their Team Lead and Falls Clinical Lead. The post holder will have a key role in helping to deliver strength and balance classes alongside therapists and will also work independently in clinic settings teaching exercises, checking memory, balance, fear of falling as well as measuring blood pressure.

There will also be opportunities to work with clients in their own homes to improve mobility, balance, function and safe use of equipment under specific direction of a therapist.

The Tri-borough Falls Prevention Service provides an excellent in-service training programme; including rehabilitation assistant specific sessions and regular clinical supervision. We pride ourselves on being at the cutting edge of evidenced based falls prevention management and have a national reputation for excellence.
