**Role: National Onsite Customer Support**

**Location: Central Belt Scotland (ideally Glasgow, Edinburgh or surrounding towns/ cities)**

**ABOUT THE ROLE -**
- Deputise at any time for all members of an Onsite Customer Operations team through to and including the manager’s position.
- Ensure that sales orders are promptly loaded onto the systems at acceptable margin levels, savings achievement, and customer delivery requirements
- Ensure that purchase orders are promptly loaded onto the systems utilising established preferred sources of supply where possible
- Ensure that reporting team members have clearly defined tasks and objectives and that they deliver the required standards of performance.
- Research and identify supply options where preferred suppliers have not been previously determined or cannot supply within required timescales
- Maintain and establish strong customer relationships
- To travel to and from Customer sites across the UK
- Regular staying away from home required - location all dependent on site with required support
- Please note we have support staff based across the UK and will endeavour to keep staff as close to home as possible, BUT, this is a role that requires national coverage

**ABOUT YOU -**
- Knowledge and proficiency with systems. i.e. SAP, Excel
- Previous experience in the engineering industry is required but not essential
- Willing to travel across the UK
- Potential staying away from home Monday - Friday
- Managerial and/ or team lead experience
- Located in Central Belt Scotland (ideally Glasgow, Edinburgh or surrounding towns/ cities)
