**Reward Partner **_(6 month fixed-term contract)_**

The Global Reward (COE) team has responsibility for the design of global reward policies and philosophy for AXA XL including the annual cycle process design, calendar and communications, AXA Group standards and governance, Long Term Incentive Design/Administration and Executive Compensation Review. This team is also responsible for providing client coverage to our global corporate functions and business areas and has oversight of our regional business unit total reward teams to ensure consistent execution and delivery of AXA XL’s Total Reward programs and initiatives.

The Reward Partner is a 6 month fixed-term contract position to provide maternity cover within the Global Reward Center of Excellence (COE) team. The role will provide support to one or more of our global corporate functions and business areas and be responsible for one or more key process areas that are the driven out of the Global Reward (COE).

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Provide compensation consulting and thought leadership on matters including but not limited to reward policies and procedures, philosophy, internal and external market positioning, job evaluations and other aspects of compensation to ensure clients are able to effectively recruit and retain top talent.
- Supports the annual cycle planning and execution as the primary contact for HR Business Partners and respective Leadership Team members.
- Partners with the Global Mobility team when necessary on aspects of compensation for internationally mobile employees within the global functions.
- Performs complex analyses and presents findings to HR Business Partners and Managers to facilitate talent and reward decisions
- Consults with HR Business Partners, Recruiting and Managers to create competitive offer packages for key strategic hires
- Participate in compensation surveys; perform independent analysis of internal and external benchmarking data to support compensation needs. Investigate and communicate compensation best practices.
- Continually assesses market conditions and pay practices to ensure competitiveness of compensation programs.
- Provides support to one or more key processes or policies driven out of the COE which include but are not limited to Annual Cycle, Governance, Remuneration Policy & Standards and Executive Compensation Review.
- Regularly collaborate with internal HR clients, COEs, and multidisciplinary senior-level leaders.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field required.
- Professional HR and/or compensation experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Experience using Oracle HCM cloud and workforce compensation module.
- Self-directed person with the ability to effectively work collaboratively across disciplines.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Effective analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to switch gears quickly and actively problem solve.
- Ability to work within ambiguous situations and deal with issues in ways that require considerable sensitivity, discretion and judgement.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, matrixed environment across multiple time zones.
- Must be creative in finding solutions to complex issues, balancing consistency across the organization with flexibility.
