Health Care Assistant/support Worker

**Responsibilities**:
As a member of our care team, you will:
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to patients in their own homes.
- Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, eating, and other personal care tasks.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, ensuring accurate documentation for healthcare professionals.
- Collect specimens such as urine, feces, or blood for laboratory testing, following strict protocols to ensure sample integrity.
- Provide support during medical procedures, acting under the direction and supervision of qualified healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe living environment for patients, adhering to health and safety guidelines to prevent infection or injury.
**Requirements**:
You must be registered with Social Care Wales (SCW)
- A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in a care-related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- The ability to accurately follow instructions and protocols, while working collaboratively within a team setting.
- A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills to ensure the highest standard of care delivery.
- The capacity to handle sensitive and confidential patient information with discretion, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
