**Role Overview**

Campari Group is looking for a National Account Controller to join the Commercial team based in London, United Kingdom.

This role supports the Business Unit Manager and Commercial Director in leading Campari UK's growth in the Managed On-Trade managing the **Tesco-Booker Group** specifically. You will be working with the team to define a strategy and align resource against this strategy and maximising Campari UK's brand presence through driving Availability, Visibility, Promotional activity and ultimately volume and value to contribute significantly towards 2025 growth plans.

**Key Responsibilities and Activities**
- Support the Business Unit Manager to develop channel strategies for assigned channel using insights from Customer Marketing team on channel priorities
- Reviews market trends to direct the company towards new sales opportunities and new customers, ensuring that customer targeting, product listings and price positioning are executed in accordance with Marketing plans
- Negotiate and implement joint business plans and commercial terms and agreements with key customers
- Lead negotiations, develop and execute customer specific strategy to deliver volume, revenue and profit targets
- Recommend channel and key customer investment levels to secure menu feature, distribution and promotional activity whilst monitoring budget and spend
- Track performance of accounts, implementing corrections as necessary and driving dynamic and collaborative ways of working to maximise performance of the relevant business area
- Fully accountable for P&L of accounts within area of responsibility
- Secure new listings and increase visibility of brands across partners and identify further opportunities
- Coach and mentor direct reports
- Development of key customer Account Plans and strategies whilst supporting direct reports in development of Account Plans and strategies
- Secure promotional activity with key customers in line with brand strategies and evolving channel
- Ensures that customer targeting, product listings and price positioning are in accordance with Marketing plans
- Work with Customer marketing to develop and implement Brand-led activation in line with evolving channel
- Utilise category and consumer insights to sell in the portolio and promotional activity to build a calendar of brand activity
- Evaluation and review of promotional activity and propose effective improvements
- Responsible for in-depth channel understanding across the channel
- Delivering accurate financial and volume forecasts

**Experience and Skills**

**_Experience:_**
- 10+ years Sales and Account Management experience in the drinks or FMCG industry
- Graduate degree desired
- Experience in Sprits or Wine desired
- Extensive experience of working in the channel, including management of a minimum of three of the key customers within this channel
- Accomplished National Account Manager level with proven track record of profitable and sustainable sales delivery and marketing exposure
- A history of achieving commercial targets and strong negotiation skills
- Experience of using category insights to drive growth
