We are currently seeking enthusiastic Band 6 Transfer Practitioners for the West Midlands Adult Critical Care Coordination & Transfer Service (ACCOTS) service which is hosted by University Hospitals Birmingham.

ACCOTS is a newly commissioned service for the Midlands region providing coordination, triage, decision-support and transfer of critically ill patients between hospitals for escalation to specialist care, repatriation and capacity reasons.

It is primarily focused on intra region transfers but must be capable of delivering inter regional transfers and have the ability to surge capacity when the Adult Critical Care (ACC) service is under pressure.

All posts are full time, permanent, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Sunday, The service currently runs daytime shifts, 08:00 - 20:00 and 10:00 - 22:00.

We are keen to hear from applicants with Critical Care and patient transfer experience who are already currently working within the acute setting in the NHS.
