Self-management/stop Smoking Lead

Responsible for submitting all quarterly stop smoking data to NHS Digital; Oversee payments to sub-contractors, resolving issues as they arise. Budget management Manage existing budgets and meet regularly with Management Accounts business partner to set and monitor budgets; Manage any new investments for new contracts; Manage all resources in line with organisational instruction, making best use of public resources. Service Developments Horizon scan for opportunities to grow business; lead on relevant tenders/invitations to quote; Develop the required infrastructure/s to embed improvements in practice at organisational and operational levels; Ensure that patient and carer perspectives are at the heart of service developments and are given appropriate consideration in relation to local initiatives; Participate in the planning process for new organisational and service delivery configurations; Data Management Ensure that the services have robust and resilient methods of collecting, storing and using activity data in accordance with Trust policy; Responsible for ensuring that all personal identifiable data is stored securely in line with Trust policy and used in accordance with GDPR; Ensure that service performance data is used effectively in delivering patient outcomes; Responsible for ensuring regular and ad hoc reports for the Trust and key stakeholders such as the commissioners are correct and submitted in a timely manner. Governance and Quality Ensure that both services are fully active and compliant with all Trust requirements for clinical governance, information governance and quality metrics; Ensure systems are in place for recording, accounting for and reporting on the services governance activity; Work with colleagues across the ICSU on issues of governance and quality, and lead on complaints management, service reviews and SI investigations, as necessary.

Performance monitoring and contractual Monitor progress against milestones, KPIs and outcomes for all areas and provide reporting to relevant bodies as appropriate; Prepare for, and represent the services at contract monitoring meetings with commissioners as indicated and required; Negotiate contract variations and contract extensions with the appropriate organisational support as required.
