**Clinical Administrator**
Farnham Dene Medical Practice is a two-site, GMS training practice, located in the beautiful Georgian market town of Farnham, with a patient list of approximately 14,500.
We are looking to recruit a Clinical Administrator to join our busy, friendly and supportive Practice. This role is based across our two sites - within Farnham Centre for Health and in the Lower Bourne (**Please note - there are limited public transport links to the Bourne, so the applicant should ideally be able to drive**).
You will also need to be organised with good time management skills, analytical, able to work under pressure, professional, able to communicate well with clinicians and other team members, but most of all have excellent attention to detail.
You will be required to provide cover for sickness and annual leave.
**Responsibilities**
- Coding clinical information contained in patient correspondence onto Practice clinical system
- Dealing with clinical correspondence in line with set protocols to automate coding as much as possible
- Deal with queries relating to coding
- Ensure relevant protocols kept up to date
- Reviewing new patient medical records and producing an accurate summary of the patient's medical history on clinical system
- Attending team meetings on a regular basis
- Any other duties considered appropriate to the role at the discretion of the Operations Managers, Practice Manager or Partners

**Qualifications**:
Essential - Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, functional Mathematics and English
Desirable - GCSE Mathematics and English (C or above)
**Experience**:
Essential - Experience of administrative duties
Desirable - Experience of working in a healthcare setting
