Clinical Trial and Data Administrator

We are currently looking for a Clinical Trial and Research Administrator to join our team.
This post will be primarily based within the Division of Anaesthetics, Pain Medicine and Intensive Care where you will work with investigators on some of the biggest national and international research studies into the treatment of sepsis patients (including COVID-19) in intensive care. These include studies funded by the NIHR, EU and other funders. You will work closely with research teams across both Imperial College and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust delivering world-class clinical research. You will work under the supervision of Professor Anthony Gordon, whose group focuses broadly on Translational science in the fields of sepsis and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
This varied role would be ideally suited to someone who wanted to be part of a growing group, working closely on the most high profile research area in the world, with previous administrative, office management and secretarial experience who is looking to build on their experience in the clinical trial sector.
**Duties and responsibilities**:
The post holder will assist the research team with day-to-day management and administration of studies across the group’s portfolio and wider academic activity within the Division of APMIC. The post holder will assist Trial Managers and Monitors with administrative duties together with data management, and archiving, to ensure that the studies are conducted to the highest scientific and regulatory standards.
**Essential requirements**:
Educated to Degree level and with a proven interest in clinical trials and medical research with experience of working in an academic or medical environment. In addition, a proven ability to take the initiative and pro-actively contribute to role responsibilities with a creative approach to problem solving.

This is a full time and fixed-term post for 12 months in the first instance.
