**We are a busy and vibrant Financial and Mortgage Advice practice based in Northampton, providing our clients with advice on Mortgages, Insurance, Pensions, Investments and Will Writing.**

We are looking for the right person to join our fun and dynamic team as an administrative apprentice, with a keen interest in the financial sector.

Duties include, but not limited to:

- Using our internal Xplan systems to complete "workflows" for our clients for all areas of advice provided by our advisors, mortgage, protection, pension & investment
- Provide comprehensive, flexible administrative support to the team of advisors
- Preparation of pension/investment reviews for our financial advisor's client meeting using dedication systems to produce reports (training provided)
- Greet clients and visitors at the reception desk
- Answering calls, taking messages for advisors and handling client queries
- Completing spreadsheets to record/search information
- General case filing and keeping the office organised
- Handling office post both receiving and sending documents
- Comply with company standards and policies on Data Protection, Financial Crime, Treating Customers Fairly as well as FCA regulations

- Essential computer skills - with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages including Teams, and good ability using windows
- Exceptional communication skills, in writing and in person, with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage your own time well
- A passion for getting the detail right every time and completing tasks with accuracy
- Professional, personable, with an enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude, who thrives in a busy environment
- Ability to be able take your own initiative when required
- **Experience in an administrative and/or customer service role would be desirable**:

- Keen financial interest and desire to progress within the sector

Desired qualifications
- Strong academic ability, with high quality GCSE & A-Level (if applicable) results
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade A*-C or 9-4 (English and Maths essential, Business/Finance advantageous)

Any of the following are desired but not necessary:

- Level 2 Business admin apprenticeship
- A Levels or equivalent
- Financial Services experience

**Salary**: £12,000.00-£15,000.00 per year
