Role and Responsibilities of the Territory Manager:
- Maintain /develop existing and new customers through pro-active planned individual account support
- Work and develop the regional territory plan with National Sales Manager to achieve the regional potential and sales targets
- Generate and develop new opportunities, follow up quotations, samples & close new business ensuring the CRM accurately reflects status.
- Ensure widespread networking with key stake holders / decision makers to promote our band and products through pro-active, planned sales visits / appointments
- To be accountable for the regions revenue and capital pipelines, accurately logging all information to ensure all potential is centrally logged. This will ensure the business can support and deliver maximum potential from the opportunities in the region.
- Support regional forecasting with the proactive use of the CRM opportunities and continual professional engagement with key stake holders and decision markets
- Handle customer complaints efficiently and professionally, when required repair customer products
- minor faults.
- Give full and precise feedback from the customers on all aspects of business activities and/or products, including complaints, satisfaction, and product improvements
- Report on all competitor's activities, pricing and /or strategies when identified
- Record all customer details and sales activities via the company business systems (Excel, Outlook, CRM system) in line with the businesses expectation requirement
- Conduct product demonstration and customer product training as and when required
- Attendance at Office, Exhibitions & Sales Meetings when requested.
- Promote the well-known brand name and any other products supplied by them
- Liaise with all internal departments when necessary or requested
- Undertakes other duties and provides support as and when required.
- Ensure all Health & Safety, policies & procedure are adhered to and enforced at all times.
Key Requirements of the Territory Manager:
- "A" level English, Maths, Science or equivalent Good computer skills, MS Office, Word & Excel, competent in the use of a CRM system.
- Dealing directly with customers negotiating, prices and discounts.
- Proven record of sales / support in the field preferable to the NHS or healthcare market.
- Proven Business to Business Sales with a minimum of three years experience.
- Project management experience
- Generating sales forecasts.
- Proficient CRM user Producing weekly /monthly reports
- Presentations experience.
- Proven time & territory management of a large geographic region
Skills and Aptitudes required of The Territory Manager:
- The Territory Manager will have negotiation skills
- Contracts, business to business skills,
- General sales training course, customer care, general medical and/or customer service experience.
- Team player with Team leader qualities
- Good interpersonal skills & excellent all round customer skills
- The Territory Manager will have proven sales ability
- Good communicator at all levels
- Forward looking / planner
- Numerate and articulate
- The Territory Manager will be IT literate
- Embracing new methods
- Highly motivated
