**Wednesday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.00pm, 21 hours per week,**
**Term time + 1 week (39 weeks per year)**
**Permanent Post**
**Required to start as soon as possible**
**We have an exciting opportunity for a Grade 6 Administration/Finance Assistant to join our team**
Experience in a school administration role is desirable, along with knowledge and expertise of using Microsoft Office and ideally experience of SIMS.net or a similar system. Good ICT skills are preferred along with a knowledge of online communication platforms with parents.
You should have a good all round education, common sense, and be willing to get involved in all aspects of school life. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, pupils and staff so the ability to be calm and tactful in difficult situations is essential. You need to be able to exercise absolute discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality both within and beyond the School.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, that allow effective communication with all levels of school staff, governors, pupils, contractors and 3rd party suppliers.
- At least 2 years’ experience of working in a busy office environment.
- The ability to multitask and prioritise
- A passion for working with children.
- The ability to work on own initiative and experience to develop existing processes and build on existing ones.
- Attainment GCSE’s or equivalent, to include English and Maths at grade A-C.
