**The Role**

As our next Lead Animator,_ y_ou'll relish the opportunity to develop a team with your ability to communicate effectively, willingness to handle challenging situations, and able to delegate responsibilities with excellent organisational & time management skills.

You will be accountable for supporting the Animation Director and the team to fulfil the project's animation & artistic direction and production timelines, as well as guiding the team through project tasks that improve the gameplay experience of our new AAA IP. You can see the bigger picture and understand why it's important to be the main point of contact between your team and production to efficiently delegate appropriate tasks for the benefit of the game development.

- Previous experience of leading and mentoring a team, with the ability to demonstrate strong leadership, team building and people management skills.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant animation software (e.g. Maya, Motion Builder etc.)
- Experience editing mocap data, (understanding and/or using) of in-house mocap capture solutions and directing mocap shoots.
- Ability to adopt and effectively communicate using different styles when working with team members across the world with various cultural backgrounds.
