At B&Q we have a hybrid approach to working to increase flexibility in when and where we work. For this role we are looking for someone to be able to work from our head office 3 days a week.

**Key responsibilities**

As a sustainability Administrator you will be responsible for providing key admin support for the Sustainability team, particularly focussing on supplier and product on-boarding with regards to ethical sourcing. You will also be responsible for providing support to Vendors to help maintain compliance against our Sustainability policies and continuous improvement programmes.

**Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities**:

- Management of workflow tasks, tracking from creation to completion through the Sustainability and Quality on-boarding process.
- Liaising with new vendors - helping onboard new vendors and supporting suppliers to understand our responsible sourcing requirements.
- Regulation and compliance support - ensuring suppliers are complying to our responsible sourcing policies.
- Reviewing external audits/certification compliance
- Liaising with the Commercial Category Team to progress approval of new products to B&Q.
- Uploading vendor data to the applicable platforms.
- Vendor Data Management
- Minute taking at Senior Leadership Team meetings
- Develop communication packs for internal and external use

**Required skills & experience**
- Keen interest and/or experience in sustainability/ethical sourcing.
- Administration, and data management skills and experience.
- Computer literate: MS Office in particular Excel
- Ability to learn new IT systems and data platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive self-starter.
