**What you’ll be doing**

As the Registration & Standards Support Coordinator, you’ll contribute to ensuring an effective support service is delivered to both Professional Registration and Fellowship volunteers and IET members / non-members. Providing a first line of contact for volunteers and maintaining accurate and up-to-date information to enable the delivery of Registration & Standards Support Unit objectives.

This role benefits from Hybrid working, which for us means home working and attending the Stevenage office typically two days a week (one being a Tuesday).

**A little more about the role**
- Responsible for handling day-to-day enquiries, via two generic mailboxes (for Registration support and one for Fellowship), from volunteers, staff or members, and ensuring they are dealt with or triaged appropriately.
- Organise and support (as and when required) Professional Registration Workshops, either virtual or in person, with Local Networks (LN), liaising with volunteers, members and LNs.
- Organise and support Fellowship Workshops (as and when required), either virtual or in person, with Local Networks (LN), liaising with volunteers, members and LNs.
- Follow up Fellowship leads in a timely manner and responding to queries.
- Measure and report on the number of workshop attendees for Professional Registration.
- Measure and report on the number of workshop attendees for Fellowship.
- Provide Professional Registration workshop attendee leads to the Professional Registration Account Team.
- Support the Professional Registration Account team in sourcing and securing Registration volunteers for Guided Registration Support / Professional Registration Support workshops.
- Support Professional Development in sourcing / securing Registration volunteers for Registration related courses.
- Support the Registration Engagement team in sourcing appropriate Registration volunteers.
- Ensure volunteer activity (LN workshops / GRS / PRS Workshops and PRA touch points) is recorded and metrics reported for quarterly committee reports.
- To assist the wider Registration & Standards team with any tasks as required.
- To undertake other duties and projects as requested by the Line Manager.
- To undertake all mandatory training deemed necessary by the IET.
- To be familiar with the Health and Safety and Fire policies for the company and to attend mandatory updates where required.

- Excellent communication (both written and oral), interpersonal skills and confidence in dealing with people at all levels.
- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent, to include English to good GCSE standard.
- Good customer service awareness and knowledge.
- High standard of accuracy and an eye for detail.
- Strong team player, with ability to work on own.
- Knowledge of event management.
- Occasional evening work, (either virtual or in person) to support workshops, time of in lieu will be given.
- Experience of working with volunteers.
