Shipping Administrator

**Role purpose**:
The Shipping Administrator is responsible for the invoicing of outgoing goods and the preparation of relevant documentation. We are a global exporter and so compliance with international regulations is of the utmost importance. Similarly, all relevant documents must be prepared with a true eye for detail to contribute to timely customer delivery. Working closely with the Distribution and Sales Support teams, the Shipping Administrator is expected to be proactive in understanding which batches are due for dispatch and ensuring that the appropriate documentation is available.
**Key accountabilities**:
- Accurate and efficient production of all administration in relation to global shipping of products
- Tracking and monitoring of all airfreight, sea freight and road deliveries world-wide producing required documentation in line with demands
- Controlling and owning the administration of all credit letters, insurance and customer invoicing, in a timely and accurate manner
- Effectively manages all data input and carries out regular data cleansing activities in line accordance with company rules
- Ensuring all required health certificates are up to date and fit for purpose
- Effectively manages and controls multi-currency invoicing structure and takes a zero tolerance approach to calculating and converting cost currencies for invoicing purposes
- Effectively carries out all other general administrative duties pertaining to import and export (this is not exhaustive)
- Builds effective relationships with peer groups and superiors across the business
- Delivers accurate outputs and takes ownership for making improvements in their job role
- Demonstrates a ‘can do will do’ attitude and carries out instructions given by line manager in a timely manner
- Carry out other ad hoc duties as required to support wider administration support team
- Accurate currency conversion calculations
- On time accurate invoicing
