**Manufacturing Services Administrator**

Amo Special Cables Ltd manufactures high performance cables. Our cables are designed to withstand harsh environments, extreme temperatures and pressures. We supply to various industries including aerospace, automotive, marine, rail and the defence sector.

To accurately balance customer demands with production capacity to optimize the utilization of our manufacturing services.

**Essential Functions**:

- Review enquiries, requests and orders from customer service and provide confirmation dates or lead times for customer orders based on machine & material availability.
- Scheduling production orders to ensure that each process is properly and efficiently loaded with work.
- Ensuring that material requirements are reviewed with Procurement to match the build plan, identifying any risks to the plan due to material shortages and modifying plan accordingly.
- Liaise with internal and external third parties to ensure delivery targets are met.
- Interfacing with factory supervisors and warehouse staff to schedule maintenance, development and process improvement activities.
- Liaise with transport partners to arrange & ensure on time delivery of customer orders.
- Maintenance of profiles & knowledge of production schedules
- Issuing work tickets to shop floor to ensure on time production of planned work
- Monitor KPI information for distribution to team

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- To effectively represent the department in meetings as requested, deputising for the Purchasing Manager and Manufacturing Services Coordinator.

**Education, Knowledge, Skills, Training, and Experience**:
**Education**
- Grade B GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths

**Experience**
- Previous planning experience is desirable
- Experience in Transportation would be an advantage
- Knowledge of customs requirements would be a distinct advantage
- Manufacturing background is desirable

**Skills**
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Strong MS Office, particularly Excel skills.
- Excellent problem solver.
- Can demonstrate the ability to prioritise, multitask whilst retaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience with Monitor ERP would be a distinct advantage
- Self-motivated and flexible.
- Effective team player with the ability to work logically and methodically through a challenge

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year
