Sandra Davidson are looking to recruit a Weekend Housing Officer to join the Block Management Team.

**Reception duties**
- Monitor the signing in and out of all guests, visitors and contractors
- Complete help desk forms for reactive maintenance and pass to the relevant persons
- Provide a comprehensive administrative support service to the residence team
- Provide an excellent and comprehensive reception service to the residence
- Deal with queries and complaints in an efficient, professional and courteous manner

**Security and Health and Safety**
- Carry out regular patrols of the residence and grounds, reporting any security/safety issues
- Monitor and control health, safety and maintenance standards within residence and grounds, reporting health and safety issues and concerns to the residence management

**Report writing**
- Complete all necessary reports including incident reports, noise reports, accident reports and others as required
- Monitor the conduct of residents, encouraging reasonable and fair behaviour, reporting any breach of the Code of Conduct
- Provide evidence and reports when requested
- React to incidents using initiative and log and report at the same time

**Customer and Colleague Liaison**
- Liaise, as necessary, with other Facilities Officers, clients, sub-contractors and residents

**Other duties**
- First Aid - appointed person responsibilities, if required
- Assist the residence team to prepare for new arrivals
- Perform other general duties as and when required

**Person Specification**

**Skills, Experience, Education and Personal Qualities - Essential Criteria**
- Previous experience
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills
- Good understanding of health and safety issues
- Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Capable of working with minimum supervision
- Work as a team player and pass on knowledge to others
- Flexible and willing
- Prepared to work extra hours as necessary

**Salary**: £9.00-£11.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
