Pricing and Commercial Lead

We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Pricing and Commercial Lead, providing the ability to combine the pace, focus, and mentality of the pricing team at Wilson James.
As the Pricing and Commercial Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the pricing cycle which is central to this role. You will impart your commercial knowledge and guidance to achieve the most economically advantageous price point for the company and our customers.
Working in proactive partnership with Senior Finance Business Partners to review pricing strategy against financial performance to identify areas for competitive advantage, you will be designing, maintaining, and amending pricing and commercial models in collaboration with the business development and operational teams. You will provide management and leadership to the Pricing Analyst, as well as significant leadership on pricing and commercial performance matters with operational managers, and clients on key accounts.

**What we need from you**:
- Can read through a Tender document and pick out relevant information needed to build up a pricing model
- Minimum of 2-3 years working within a pricing team and or manager of pricing team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel (IF Formulas, VLOOKUP's and such like) - preferably with a Microsoft Excel Proficiency course
- An excellent understanding of maths and English with an excellent standard of written English and the ability to write to client requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to review their own work prior to official appraisal
- Confident speaker, able to communicate effectively and confident to present to new and existing clients with strong presentation skills
- An in depth understanding of commercial models and some economic principles
- A high-level knowledge and understanding of Salesforce and how it works and can be manipulated
- Ability to lead in a transformational manner and support operations managers and clients in the pricing challenges.
- Experience collaborating and liaising with Security Operations and Bids teams in a results-driven environment
**Ideally you will have**:
- Worked within the security industry, or service industry
- Worked as a senior manager previously
- University Degree in a maths/business relevant degree
