**Job Overview**:
As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the lives of the children and young people in our care. You will provide high-quality care, emotional support, and guidance to help them overcome challenges and develop essential life skills. This role requires a high level of empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in young people's lives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people in the residential home.
- Create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of all residents.
- Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs and aspirations.
- Support children and young people in their educational, recreational, and social activities.
- Foster positive relationships with the children, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
- Manage challenging behaviors in a calm and constructive manner, using approved techniques and interventions.
- Ensure compliance with all safeguarding, health, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role or working with children and young people in a residential setting is highly desirable.
- A relevant qualification in childcare, social work, or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce) is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- High level of emotional intelligence, patience, and resilience.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and training.
