**Robert Half**are delighted to have been retained to source an **Interim Business Improvement Consultant** for a well-respected employer in the West Midlands.

After a period of significant organic growth, our client wishes to scope out and drive efficiencies for the business with the ultimate goal of generating cost savings. Over recent years they have 'reacted' to their expansion by adding headcount, howeverthere are significant efficiencies to be made by transforming the structure of work, processes and systems.

The role will cover all areas of the business including but not limited to Commercial, Finance, Operations, HR, Recruitment and Sales.

The questions that the Board of Directors are asking for clarity on are as follows:
**People** - are the workforce working effectively? Is work being duplicated? Is there capacity in some people vs others?

**Process** - are the processes efficient? Are the documented? Do they flow from one department to another?

**Systems** - is the technology being used effectively? Is the technology's potential being unlocked?

Where are things going wrong? Where is the low hanging fruit? What can be transformed quickly to drive efficiencies to the business?
- Be a professional Interim Manager with a proven track record of delivering on similar projects
- Have superb communication skills - this role will interface with the board but also with junior employees
- Be analytical, able to map and analyse processes and identify efficiencies, gaps and improvements
- Be appropriately qualified **(e.g Lean, Six Sigma etc).**:

- Be able to work with stakeholders at all levels.

This Interim role will commence in mid-late January for an initial period of 6 months, following a session with the MD and Operations Director. The role will be largely remote but some office access will be required (West Midlands) as well as occasionalUK travel.
