**Job description**:
As a Researcher within our Intelligence Directorate, you will:

- Work in partnership with Intelligence Analysts, Officers, and colleagues from across our organisation, sharing intelligence and information in line with relevant standards.
- Evaluate, assess and record information from multiple internal and external sources and conduct research.
- Accurately maintain management activity systems and operational records in accordance with legislation and guidance.
- Input data and maintain record management systems, ensuring there is an effective record management and audit trail.
- Verify and cross-reference how valid information is, to identify and communicate links between different pieces of information.
- Undertake system checks to support our Intelligence Analysts and colleagues across the organisation.

**Person specification**:
We’re looking for Researchers who have:

- Great communication skills - to communicate confidently with a wide variety of stakeholders
- The ability to consider the bigger picture and understand the importance and impact of information gathered
- The ability to learn, and show enthusiasm for, new skills
- Some knowledge of combatting economic crime, including working with law enforcement partners
- Great skills at working as part of a team, as well as working independently
