Dartford Borough Council are offering the opportunity for an apprentice to join their technical department where you will assist with administrative duties to support the provision of a comprehensive technical and administrative support for Development Management, Building Control, and Planning Strategy assisting in the provision of a high quality, customer focused service.

**Travel information**

Dartford train station is under 200 feet from Dartford Borough Council. The council is also along a bus route.

**Description of Vacancy**
- Assisting with the administration of the Planning appeals process
- Assisting with the issue of all formal Notices and correspondence to be despatched accurately and made available on the Council’s website
- To contribute to the success of the Planning and Building Control service by developing supportive working relationships and demonstrating a flexible approach to teamwork
- To assist with the provision of general administrative support for Planning Services

**Wage**

£195.36 per week / £5.28 per hour

**Hours**

37 hours per week
Monday to Friday
20% paid time during working hours is given to complete training, referred to as "Off the Job Training"
