London, United Kingdom Monmouth Partners Ltd Full time

Are you passionate about clinical coding?

UK healthcare consultancy, Monmouth Partners, are seeking additional clinical coding consultants with a minimum of 1 year practical clinical coding experience to join our onsite and remote team.

This is a great opportunity to join an established team which delivers clinical coding for both NHS and independent hospitals across England. If you are looking for an opportunity to widen your horizons, work across multiple organisations and develop your coding skills within a closely knit team this is the role for you.

**Clinical Coding Consultant role**

Ideally you should already be ACC qualified. If not, you should be aiming to achieve this within 18 months of joining us and we will support you through this process. Beyond ACC, we will back you to develop at your pace and - if it's right for you - develop you further through higher professional qualifications such as the NHS Digital auditor or trainer programmes.

Specifically, the role will involve:

- Clinical coding in line with both internal and external (e.g. national NHS Digital Clinical Classification Service, CCS) standards and requirements
- Working both onsite and remotely at NHS Trusts and independent hospitals
- Participating in our internal professional development and quality assurance programme - we set a benchmark of consistently achieving NHS Digital's "Standards Exceeded" attainment level
- Working with other members of the coding team to continually develop our sector-leading online Clinical Coding Academy.
- Clinical coding to NHS standards for procedures (OPCS) and diagnoses (ICD-10) - minimum of 1 years practical experience required
- Accredited Clinical Coder (ACC) status achieved, or be actively working towards achieving this within the next 18 months
- Team working and a strong grasp of current developments within clinical coding.

The role is full-time and will be formally based from our offices in Covent Garden. You will primarily work at client sites, mainly within London and the South East. There is some scope for flexibility for remote coding from home, however, all of our team are expected to undertake a combination of onsite and remote work to maintain their skills and nurture team working.

If you are interested in finding out more, please forward a brief covering note / letter and attach a copy of your current CV.

We look forward to hearing from you.
