The company is comprised of industry leaders including entertainment agency WME; sports, fashion, events and media company IMG; and premier mixed martial arts organization UFC. The Endeavor network specializes in talent representation, sports operations & advisory, event & experiences management, media production & distribution, experiential marketing and brand licensing.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Management Accounting
- Responsible for period end accounting closes for a range of IMG Arena streaming and data rights properties (including football, basketball, tennis, badminton)
- Variance analysis of actual results against forecast

Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis:

- Preparation of forecasts for IMG Arena rights properties on a 3 year rolling basis. This involves liaising with Commercial, Production, Legal and Finance colleagues to ensure all relevant information is collected
- Periodic cash-flow forecasting for IMG Arena rights properties

Commercial Accounting
- Preparation of periodic client accounting reports for rights properties including liaising with clients
- Liaison with group accounts payable function to ensure all company payments are made on a timely basis
- Working with IMG Arena content acquisitions team on valuation and appraisal of new sports rights acquisition opportunities

Other
- You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job

Knowledge and Experience

Mandatory
- Good knowledge of UK and US GAAP
- Confident and flexible team player with the ability to work with commercial staff across the organisation
- Must be able to work on own initiative to identify and resolve problems
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition
- Qualified Accountant
- ACA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent

Desirable
- Hands on experience of working within the media or sports rights industry
- Experience in using SAP (or equivalent) accounting system
- Experience of financial planning and analysis work

Skills and Abilities

Mandatory
- Must be able to plan and organise work to meet deadlines and determine priorities
- Must be able to work on own initiative to identify problem areas and work through to a satisfactory conclusion
- Must be able to work calmly under pressure and work as part of a team to achieve results
- Proactive and self-motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; and
- A “finisher” with the genuine drive and commitment to deliver against objectives at all times
- Strong Excel ability
- Good communication (written and verbal) skills

Desirable
- A strong interest in both sports and media
- An understanding of the sports betting industry
