We are seeking a Post-Awards Officer to provide post-award administration and reporting support, particularly financial reporting. This role will provide a key link between support and academic functions in SRUC and carry out major compliance actions forindividual project delivery post-award. This will link closely with the key reporting types in our major funders, including RESAS, EU and UKRI, and provide a connection between ROS (Research Operations and Strategy) and the individual project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide hands-on post award administrative support for academic research projects including invoicing, maintenance of records and databases, and assisting with the development, review and implementation of post award reporting processes to ensure thesecomply with legislation and research best practice.
- Provide support to PIs and the Finance and Audit Officer in post award financial reporting on research projects and portfolios.
- Liaise with staff in the Faculties and Directorates, as well as external stakeholders by telephone, in person or in writing as appropriate regarding operational management and administration of research projects and to resolve matters.
- Research and locate information in relation to reporting and recording requirements, and changes there in, for our major funders, investigating and reporting on issues where necessary.
- Support the development and maintenance of the research data, outputs and awards management systems including quality control and user training
- Support the development and roll out of post award project management training within SRUC and provide follow up support.

This is a permanent, part-time role of 22.2 hours per week.
