**Finance and Compliance Officer**

Our client in the education sector has a lovely new opportunity for a secretary to manage the finances and compliance of the school on a full-time or part-time basis. You will be a friendly face for the organisation, who is happy to work in a varied and busy role, alongside the Admissions Secretary.

**Finance and Compliance Officer Responsibilities**

Complete monthly bank reconciliation, fees ledger maintenance, purchase ledger invoicing and daily banking

Ensure all pre-employment checks have been carried out

Manage and maintain staff files

Maintain the compliance calendar and book engineer visits and building compliance checks throughout the year

Answer the door to visitors and suppliers and take responsibility for the signing in and out procedure

**Finance and Compliance Officer Essentials**

Our client is looking for a warm professional with experience in a similar role managing finances, who is kind, friendly and positive, and happy to work in a front-facing role, providing support as needed.

You will have excellent communication skills, a professional and collaborative approach, and a willingness to be flexible and make positive changes.

**Location**

This is a full time, permanent role based in Aylesbury, however part-time 4 days may be considered. This is an office-based role during term time, with flexibility to work from home during the school holidays.
