**Temporary Secretary Responsibilities**

Your duties will include:

- Acting as first point of contact for parents
- Maintaining the ledger
- Processing payments and chasing those outstanding
- Assigning ledger codes
- Meeting and greeting guests
- Ordering stationery and staff supplies for distribution
- Liaising with Head Office regarding finance and property matters
- Managing staff files
- Responding to the children in a sensitive yet professional manner
- Attending any formal or informal school events outside of school hours as required by the Headteacher

**Temporary Secretary Requirements**
- Previous experience in a relevant financial role, knowledge of Sage would be preferred
- Strong administrative skills, ideally gained within an education setting
- Highly proficient written and spoken English
- Exceptional communication and people skills
- Self-motivated, organised and keen to learn
- Able to work in a busy environment with adults and children
- Professional attitude and ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Good knowledge and understanding of iSAMS and office software packages
- Experience of school-based systems would be advantageous but not required
