Key responsibilities include: Oversight of the accounting function for the group entities including:

Monthly management accounts. Annual statutory accounts. Treasury management. Budgeting & Forecasting. Payroll.

Capital expenditure appraisals. Post investment reviews. Taxation including preparation of VAT and liaison with external advisors. Developing and maintaining external relationships such as: auditors & taxation specialists, corporate finance advisers, IT support company, Banks & Forex, QA advisers, etc Premises lease management. Input to business management & development issues which may including: Staff recruitments & retrenchments Acquisitions of target companies Divestments of business activities Business development initiatives Business partnerships R&D projects Annual pay reviews Company Secretarial tasks. Skills and Qualifications: Qualified accountant with prior experience in a senior role (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) Previous experience in a comparative position within a company of comparable size/turnover. Ability to demonstrate a hand on approach in previous positions. Ability to build strong and effective relationships with clients and customers quickly and easily. Plenty of drive and enthusiasm with a quick grasp of the commercial realities of the business and an ability to express these implications to the wider company. Previous experience working in a similar industry is highly desirable. Personal Qualities: Hands-on, energetic, positive, adaptable. Good people skills - team player. Commercial with a creative outlook. Salary and Benefits: The role of Finance Director is offered with a salary of £90-£100,000 plus benefits including a profit share related bonus.
