**At Caremark Rotherham &Sheffield we are recruiting for Children Care and Support Workers. The role is community based where you will be provided care and support to Children and young adults with differing needs. We support our clients within the home, school/college and to access the community.**

Y**ou will need to be 18 years old and over and will need to be punctual, enthusiastic and reliable and possess a positive attitude in supporting your young clients**.***

**Our clients prefer their Care and Support Workers to be able to drive (UK licence) with access to a vehicle for work purposes. Our clients enjoy being able to access the community to undertake FUN activities they are interested in.**

**The type of support includes daily living activities such as supporting with personal care, nutrition and hydration, medication administration and general health and well-being. There are also aspects of clinical intervention which we deliver such as feeding (PEG), tracheostomy and ventilation care.**

At Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield we will support and guide you within your role to ensure your competence and knowledge is of a high standard where you can provide exceptional care and support to your individual clients.

As a Children’s Care and Support Worker you will have your own regular clients, so they receive continuity and opportunity in meeting their specified needs, goals and aspirations. This means you will take an active part in assisting your clients with their chosen leisure and social activities.

**You will be supporting your client/s on a one to one between 4-12 hours at any one time**. **You will need to be able to work following a two weekly rolling rota which MUST include working **Saturday and Sunday every other week.**

**_TYPICAL SUPPORT WE PROVIDE:_**
- Support within the home 10-12 hours
- Support with personal care, medication administration, nutrition & hydration needs 3-12 hours
- Support within school and college 8 hours
- Support to access the community undertaking your clients chosen activities 3-8 hour
- Companionship/guidance 4-8 hours
