**Summer 2023**

International Summer School for Teens operates exclusive educational programmes for young people looking to enhance their learning through adventure and travel.

Experienced and motivated member of staff required to teach our Sports Leadership class. Applicants should be comfortable coaching a group of young people aged 12-18 years old - with different levels of ability and expereince - in a variety of sports.

The course is designed to develop self-confidence and positve leadership through sport and active outdoot pursuits. As a coach, you will develop students confidence, resilience, teamwork, planning and organisational skills, goal setting and communication skills.

Previous sports covered in the course have included:

- Basketball
- Football
- Fencing
- Trampoline
- Golf
- Touch American Football
- Hiking

Other aspects of the course include fitness testing and an introduction to sports psychology and therefore applicants should be able to demonstrate their experience in the above and display a passion for working with young people.

All staff must participate in a mandatory training session which will be scheduled prior to the start of summer school. Applicants must have reliable means of transportation to get to sites on a timely basis. Please be advised that as part of our interview process, we will request contact details for 2 references. All gaps in CVs must be explained satisfactorily. Applicants will also have to provide ID and hold - or be willing to obtain - a current PVG / Enhanced Disclosure / CRB. Salary is pro rata and dependent on factors such as experience and location.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 weeks
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
