Transitions Goal Lead

Edinburgh, United Kingdom NatWest Group Full time

Our people work differently depending on their jobs and needs. From hybrid working to flexible hours, we have plenty of options that help our people to thrive.

This role is based in the United Kingdom and as such all normal working days must be carried out in the United Kingdom.

Join us as our Transition Goal Lead
- This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our organisation and revolutionize the colleague experience
- You’ll be driving the implementation and end to end performance of our Transition goal and the journeys and propositions that underpin it
- If you’re passionate about HR transformation and have the drive to lead change in an agile and dynamic environment, join us on this journey as we redesign the colleague experience to unlock the true potential of our workforce

**Where you’ll be working**:
You’re joining us at an exciting time in People & Transformation.

With our people, values and purpose at the heart of our approach, we’re leading the change in working culture that’s accelerating our transformation into a relationship bank for a digital world. A culture where we celebrate and respect everyone’s strengths and differences, share our knowledge and experiences, and where everyone can feel comfortable bringing their true self to work - giving everyone the same opportunities to grow and get ahead.

**Your challenge**:
As we increasingly work in more flexible and agile teams, sometimes entirely remotely, we want to understand how it feels to work here and what we can improve. And for every need, or journey, we want to deliver an experience that’s seamless, positive and effortless every time.

Moving to a Colleague Goal and Journey model will allow us to truly put our colleagues at the heart of the experience. By bringing our teams together, aligned around these goals and the journeys supporting them, we can truly transform the colleague experience - and even set some new industry trends along the way.

**What you’ll do**

As a Goal Lead, you’ll be leading the transformation of the journeys and experiences connected to our Transition goal.

Transition is all about supporting colleagues going through organisational change or leaving the bank. We know how daunting change can be, and we want to support every colleague by delivering seamless and digital-first journeys - and if we get it right, they’ll advocate NatWest Group as an employer of choice for talent around the world.

With a global remit, you’ll be responsible for:

- Developing and executing the strategy for your goal, and working closely with cross-functional teams to make sure it aligns with our broader strategy and goals
- Establishing a framework to measure goal, strategy, service, risk and controls performance
- Ensuring that data-led insights inform our understanding of the end-to-end experience for colleagues when they’re at risk of redundancy or considering leaving the bank
- Leveraging our partnerships and existing capabilities to innovate at pace and accelerate our digital transformation
- Leading and supporting multi-disciplinary agile teams to simplify systems, processes, products and services, journey by journey
- Role modelling Agile leadership, championing new and agile ways of working, and embedding new mindsets, behaviours and capabilities
- Empowering your teams and coordinating the tech, tools and spaces to help them collaborate, experiment and innovate

**The skills you’ll need**:
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate agile leader to join us on this exciting journey of change and growth. With a successful track record of delivering products, policies and propositions on a global scale, you’ll bring the knowledge and vision needed to introduce cutting-edge practices, streamlined processes and transformative technologies.

You’ll also demonstrate:

- Experience of leading significant and complex change programmes
- Great communication and influencing skills
- A passion for exploring new technologies and approaches
- A proven ability to build trust and advocacy among your teams and stakeholders

**We thrive through diversity and value the variety of backgrounds, perspectives and opinions in the room - and if you value this too, there’s a place for you with us at NatWest Group.
