GCU UK Ltd are a specialised contractor that offers a full suite of services to several key sectors including Utilities, Telecommunications, Civil Engineering and Traffic Management. With offices and projects across the UK, GCU work collaboratively with clients to deliver projects from inception to completion, producing high-end results while maintaining excellent safety standards.

GCU are looking for an Health, Safety & Systems Administrator to join our team working in the Telecoms sector.

This is an opportunity for you to develop your skills and influence how we record and report on operational activates of the team.

We would be looking for you to take responsibility for monitoring and recording event management including incidents, audit findings.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordination of resource for the timely delivery of the GCU Audit Schedule
- Owner of GCU Action Management Process
- Key communicator with GCU Operations and Project Teams for action allocation and documented closure
- Collation of environmental performance data from 3rd parties
- Preparation of Weekly HSEQ Client Reports and Monthly Board Data (HSEQ)
- Key account holder for GCU external HSEQ System based software, including awareness of upgrades, and ensuring access to GCU systems as required per job role
- Opportunity to be involved in delivery of GCU Internal Audit and Emergency Response

Qualification, Skills and Experience Required
- NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (Desirable)
- Recognised Internal Auditor Qualification (Desirable)
- 3+ years of previous experience in a similar role (required)
- Working knowledge of ISO9001:2015, ISO14001: 2015 and ISO45001:2018 (required)
- Strong attention to detail through data handling
- Experienced working within a Team
- Well organised, methodical personal approach
- Effective communicator with strong presentation and report writing skills
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (including Excel/ PowerPoint/ Word)
