Morgan Hunt are currently working with a Hospital based in Uckfield, in their search for a Facilities Support Assistant**.** The role is an exciting opportunity for a facilities and admin assistant who has experience within the Public and Health Sectors.
As a facilities support assistant, you will support the delivery of admin services within the health centre in line with policies and procedures and as detailed in work schedules.
**Job Title**: Facilities Support Assistant

**Job Type**: 6 Month FTC
**Hours**:37.5, Mon - Sunday, 07:00 - 14:00 or 14:00 - 22:00
**Start Date**: ASAP
**Key Responsibilities**
- Vacuum cleaning, damp mopping of floors, damp dusting of furniture/fittings, cleaning of mirrors and internal glass, sanitary ware, e.g. baths, showers, sinks, toilets, washing of tiled surfaces and paintwork, high dusting of walls and ceilings, floor maintenance, etc., changing of disposable curtains, carry out deep clean/terminal cleans when necessary (in in-patient areas) etc.
- Preparation of all food (Cook/Freeze regenerated meals) and beverages as necessary in accordance with menus, portion control and agreed standards.
- Liaising with clinical staff to ensure patient needs, specialist requirements are met (i.e dietary requirements)
- Undertaking full legionella flushing of all outlets within your area of responsibility and update records or documentation as requir
- Supply and replenishment of consumables, e. paper towels, toilet tissue, etc
- Portering duties - such as delivering and collecting of items
- Providing high levels of customer service
- Use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement.
- Identify challenging situations and resolve a range of problems, setting up new processes and ways of working in order to meet clients' satisfaction and required standards.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
- Demonstrate a culture of commercial focus and continuous improvement within in-house teams and contract management to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery and ensure value for money.
- Ensure work is prioritised and delivered in a timely manner.

- Previous experience in a hospital setting
- FM experience desirable but not essential
- High level of accuracy and excellent communication and listening skills
- Great with time-management and problem-solving
- Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Experience working in a team environment
- Able to travel and work unsocial hours
- Happy to work in a hospital environment with a close proximity to patients
- No facial hair, piercings or jewellery
