**Overview**:
We are seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join our team. As a Transportation Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing transportation operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. If you have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Coordinate and schedule transportation activities
- Communicate with drivers, staff and customers to ensure smooth operations
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Resolve any issues or delays in transportation operations
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including logs and records
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise transportation processes
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency
- Act in accordance with Speedel’s core values of integrity, quality, customer focus and teamwork
- Perform any other duties as reasonably required to achieve the companies objectives

**Skills**:

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer service experience along with an excellent telephone manner (required)
- Previous transport industry experience a bonus but not essential (full training provided)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly on your feet

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

**Benefits**:
