Our Acquisition Services team perform financial analysis and provide ongoing support to entities (prospective and acquired) that the SJP Group acquire for strategic purposes. We have exciting opportunities for two trainee financial accountants to join the team and support its operation whilst studying for AAT/ACCA qualification with study support from SJP. These roles would suit ambitious, motivated individuals who are wanting to progress a career in financial accountancy within a leading FTSE100 business.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Support members of the Acquisition Services team as required.
- Communicate with a range of stakeholders, including internal teams and the SJP Partnership.
- Perform financial analysis and help to prepare subsequent working papers.
- Interpret regular management accounts and statutory accounts, communicating trend analysis.
- Assist in the delivery of acquisition projects.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

**Who we’re looking for**:

- Basic process and accounting knowledge.
- Good statutory accounting knowledge.
- Experienced using Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of the SJP business model and the interaction of the Group’s legal entities.
- Demonstrates good working knowledge of assigned tasks and processes.
- Strong communication and written skills.
- Analytical approach - keen to find pragmatic solutions.
- Manages own workload and deliverables.
- Proactively seeks out opportunities/development.
- Committed to obtaining financial qualification.

**Special Requirements**:
Agrees to the terms set out in the SJP “Study Support Agreement”.
