**Job Title**: Administration & Accounts Assistant
**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administration & Accounts Assistant. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support across various functions, as well as assisting with key accounting tasks.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage general office administration, including filing, document organisation, and data entry.
- Schedule client appointments and manage important departmental deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and detailed customer records and create new customer accounts.
- Build a good rapport with clients.
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Support directors and heads of department as required.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve administrative and accounting-related inquiries.
- Provide support for HR-related tasks, such as employee onboarding and record-keeping.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative or accounts assistant role.
- Strong knowledge of office administration.
- Basic accounts knowledge preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks preferable) and Microsoft Office suite is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
**Salary range**: £22,000 - £24,000 pro rota
