Reed HR are working alongside a well-known Not for Profit Organisation based in South West London who are recruiting for a HR & EDI Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This role will be hybrid so you will be expected to travel into the office 2-3 days a week.

**Job Summary**

A Generalist HR Manager with experience of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Employee Engagement, to join a busy HR Team. The role with work alongside other HR colleagues to deliver a comprehensive operational and strategic HR service to managers andstaff across the business.

**Main areas of responsibility**
- Lead on organisational development and delivery based on the organisations values to implement change, facilitate employee engagement including wellbeing
- Lead on the review and development of HR policies and EDI related policies, working in close partnership with HR colleagues and the Head of HR; Ensure that policies and procedures are in line with best practice and legislative requirements
- Work closely with staff and staff groups to create and maintain a diverse and inclusive workforce equipped with skills and behaviours that promote equality, diversity and inclusion across the organisation
- Support the Head of HR and leadership team on EDI related projects and initiatives, providing advice and best-practice solutions
- Deliver measurable change in EDI outcomes and enhance staff engagement and wellbeing
- Set up and carry out EDI and other staff surveys, ensuring that responses are recorded, analysed and presented to the appropriate groups, e.g. senior leadership team
- Provide best practice EDI advice on HR matters including recruitment, career progression, operational activities, change programmes and staff training to improve the quality of EDI guidance and advice across the organisation
- Regularly run/review equality and diversity reports (including relating to gender and ethnicity pay gaps) and analyse outcomes and trends on the diversity of our workforce and the effectiveness of our recruitment and retention practices, recommending andenacting measures.
- Contribute as required to the effective delivery of a HR service working with and supporting other members of the team
- To undertake any other tasks that would be deemed suitable within this role as directed by line management

**Experience and qualifications**

**Essential**
- Experience of generalist HR at the appropriate level
- CIPD or other relevant qualification with CPD
- Achievements in delivery of equality objectives and culture change

**Desirable**
- Change management
- HR project management and project delivery
