Love music? We’re looking for knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers to help research our vinyl record donations if there is time you could also help to sort, price and display our wide range of donated CDs. This is a flexible opportunity to share your love of music, to get a taster of a career as a retail assistant and help the British Heart Foundation beat heartbreak forever.

**Say hello to the team**: Funding for researchers begins at your local Wakefield charity shop. Now, more than ever, we are in urgent need of volunteers to enable us to continue our life saving research and help the 7.6 million people in the UK living with heart and circulatory diseases. This wouldn’t be possible without our fantastic volunteers. Our team is welcoming and friendly, and we love meeting people from all walks of life.

Typical tasks include:

- Looking up vinyl prices on the internet to ensure we price our vinyl collection reasonably and competitively
- Keeping our music and entertainment department fully stocked and organised behind the scenes in our stock room and on the shop floor
- Help with sorting out donations of CDs, checking discs for scratches, recycling those that are damaged if there are no vinyl items to research
- Following our guidelines to value and price donated CDs
