Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraiser to lead on all aspects of fundraising, developing relationships with donors, volunteers, and corporate supporters.

This is an exciting time of growth for the Give A Duck Foundation, offering a great opportunity to make your mark and be part of a small, friendly, and ambitious team.

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 per annum, based on the location in the North West and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Fundraising Manager with the creation and delivery of the fundraising strategy in key areas: events, community, corporate, and individual giving.
  • Leading on all fundraising activities supporting the charity, including recruiting participants in local, sponsored events.
  • Recruiting, managing, and motivating Community Ambassadors and volunteers to grow income and widen awareness of the charity.
  • Contributing to all aspects of the charity's work through communication with health care professionals and families.
  • Planning and executing all forms of communication with donors, supporters, and communities.
  • Creating press releases to help raise awareness of the charity.
  • Developing and sharing ideas for fundraising and volunteering growth.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in fundraising, a customer-facing/sales environment, or volunteer management.
  • Researching and identifying appropriate fundraising opportunities.
  • Previous experience of working with social media channels.
  • Computer literate with excellent MS Office and database management skills.
  • Excellent networking and collaboration skills.
  • Creative and innovative.
  • Self-motivated and able to work alone.
  • Full clean current driving licence.
