**The difference you will make as a People Partner**:
In this role you will provide strategic direction, coaching and support to Executive Directors and senior leaders, in relation to their people agenda across the colleague lifecycle - driving and leading people change and influencing and shaping people strategies and plans across the Group and within People Services to support the achievement of business objectives and the corporate plan.

We are looking for someone with a proven ability to think and plan strategically, shape people projects and deliver to agreed timelines. A proven track record of HR Business Partnering/People Partnering within a medium to large, complex unionised organisation. **Role Profile**
- Partner an assigned business area, or multiple business areas as required, building effective relationships with senior leaders to define business requirements and influence, shape and develop people strategies and plans, ensuring alignment to the overall Group People Strategy and Corporate Plan
- Work at a strategic level, providing people insight, expertise and coaching to Executive Directors and Senior Leaders on the experience of their people across the colleague lifecycle, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure high profile and high risk people challenges are addressed confidentially and effectively to achieve required business outcomes
- Support the Group Head of People Transformation & Partnering in the development, implementation and regular review of the relevant strategy and plans, ensuring alignment to the overall People Strategy, impacting business area specific requirements as appropriate.
- Ensure the Group People Strategy, and underpinning frameworks and policies are fully embedded and adhered to within assigned business areas, challenging non-compliance when required.
- Lead the development, monitoring and delivery of business area people plans, ensuring alignment to the overall Group People Strategy and ensuring that business area requirements are fed into and agreed within People Services for delivery and proposals.
- Champion and embed Group values and ways of working, collaborating with People Services and business colleagues to achieve the Group aspired culture.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Learning Partners to ensure business area talent acquisition / learning plans are developed and executed effectively, ensuring alignment to the People Strategy.
- Lead people change initiatives within assigned business areas, e.g. Organisational Design and TUPE transfers, ensuring collaboration between business leaders, People Services and Trade Union to ensure effective implementation.
- Analyse people analytics to gain insight into issues, trends, best practice and areas for improvement, presenting findings and recommendations to key stakeholders including senior leaders, ensuring robust action plans are developed and monitored to ensure continuous improvement and that ongoing people issues are addressed.
- Maintain industry knowledge and expertise, keeping abreast of People Partnering developments and best practice, identifying opportunities to contribute to and shape future decision making. Ensure that all information security requirements, including data protection, are met in accordance with the Group’s policy, procedures and statutory requirements.
