Payroll Administrator

Due to exceptional growth Avantis |marine are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support our growing workforce and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. **Responsibilities**:
- Support the payroll manager
- Review and verify timesheets, ensuring completeness and accuracy of hours worked.
- Process Timesheets from numerous projects
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of payroll data, including hours worked, deductions, and expenses
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure employee information is up to date and accurate in the payroll system. Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors.
- Generate payroll reports for management review and analysis.
- Stay up to date with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
**Requirements**:
- Proficient in using payroll software systems
- Accurate data entry skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes.
- Experience working with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms.(desirable)
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends or discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
**Salary**: £18,500.00-£22,000.00 per year
