We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and confident person to join our friendly Inclusion team. The post holder will provide efficient and effective administration support for the school Headteacher and Inclusion Team.

This position would ideally suit someone who has strong organisational and administrative skills, an excellent work ethic and the ability to communicate confidently with a wide range of people. You will need to be a team player who can be flexible, creative and confidential.

This is a part-time position, working 18 hours per week (term-time only, 39 weeks per year). We can be flexible regarding how the hours are worked throughout the week but the successful applicant is required to work on Fridays. The start date for this role is Monday 4 September or as soon as possible after this date. The successful applicant will be on £24,804 to £25, 212 (FTE).

**Key duties and responsibilities**
- Provide administrative and organisational support to the Inclusion Lead and SENCo including preparing documentation, drafting correspondence, record keeping, coordinating and servicing meetings.
- Contacting and communicating with parents/carers, staff and other agencies regarding children with SEN.
- To maintain and update pupil records relating to medical, welfare and SEN needs; sharing information with colleagues as appropriate.
- Under the direction of the Inclusion Lead and SENCo, maintain and update medical care plans / Pupil Progress records / IEPs and other intervention plans.
- Under the direction of the Inclusion Lead and SENCo, collate and prepare information relating to assessments, statements and referrals to other agencies.
- Arrange in-school appointments with visiting medical / therapeutic practitioners - e.g. school nurse, physio, speech and language, play therapist, school counsellor.
- To collate SEN, welfare and medical data producing routine reports and preparing statistical returns as requested.
- Comply with policies and procedures relating to child protections, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
- Previous experience would be welcome, but training can be provided. GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively on several levels.Please note that you are wholly responsible for fact checking in respect of the information provided by schools.
