**SEN teaching Assistant**

**Location: Greenwich**

We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN teaching assistant with preferred childcare experience and someone who is willing to drive themselves to better their career within the education industry. This role would suit anyone that is passionate about working in education, if you are also interested in supporting SEN children, mainly those with Autism, Speech and Language needs then this role will be well suited to you. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support 1:1 with children that have these types of special needs.

**Duties included**:

- 1:1 support with children
- Assisting the class teacher
- Supporting the whole class when needed
- Caring and looking after children during break time
- Managing challenging behaviour
- Fostering relationships with the parents

**Pay: £85.00 - £100.00**

**Essential skills that are required to have**:

- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
- Experience working with children with Autism/ADHD
- Have a natural enthusiasm for working with young children
- The ability to monitor and record a child’s progress
- An understanding of safeguarding children
- A positive, caring, energetic, can-do attitude

**Salary**: £85.00-£100.00 per day
