An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Camden School Nursing Service to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic band 3 staff member to work alongside the School Nurses.
The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. As an NHS Trust we strongly encourage and support vaccination as this remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients and service users when working on our healthcare settings.
The role will provide both clinical and administrative support to the School Nursing Team in Camden. The post holder will be expected to have excellent communication and IT skills, and work without immediate supervision in order to enable to team to carry out a range of clinical activity as quickly and effectively as is required.
It is essential that the post holder will have the ability to prioritise their own workload and to work as part of a team in this busy and demanding role. The role will entail dealing with and answering telephone queries from service users; sending letters; maintenance and development of office systems; administrative processes involving IT systems; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The team is located across two office bases in Camden and the applicant must be able to work flexibly across both sites depending on service need.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and contribute towards improving the health outcomes for a culturally diverse population of children, young people and families by working in partnership with experienced School Nurses.

Band 3 Health Care Support Worker work closely with people who use our Services, their families, friends and carers and play an important contribution in how people experience our services. Band 3 Health Care Support Workers are expected to be kind and responsive but professional and informative and contribute to the quality of the services we provide by:
- Keeping the people using our services as safe as possible by recognising the limits of the Health Care Assistant role and working closely with Registered Professionals.
- Contributing to the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to evidence based policies and procedures when implementing care plans
- Ensuring the people using our services have a good experience by respecting, empowering and working in partnership with people when contributing to the implementation and
evaluation of care plans
